Heifer Station
All are welcome at Heifer Station where children and BIG kids can get up close with the animals in the ‘Funny Farm’ petting zoo adjacent to the wine tasting room. Meet the funky chooks, goats, black faced Suffolk sheep and Tilly the mini shetland. Heifer Stations’ history spans back to its days as one of the Orange areas biggest cattle stations. The station is also home to a small herd of alpacas – headed by the friendly ‘Snowy’ and to an ever increasing herd of highland cattle – with fluffy coats and long horns they are ideally suited to the cool climate of Orange.
